We may be bias, but we love our building and our spaces. Lets walk you through them!
The Patio:
You have to many options when it comes to our patio! The patio is perfect for either a ceremony, reception, or both! It is also great for cocktail hours and photo backdrops. We have Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, which represents the rock-faced exterior with it's contrasting colors within the bricks. The stones are from our local Colorado quarries from Colorado Springs and Castle Rock. at the Kirk of Highland it is a true Colorado wedding. You can also spice up the patio with umbrellas, tents, or leave it with the open air. We love the patio and so do our couples!
The Sanctuary:
The sanctuary is often used for wedding ceremonies. The coolest thing about this room, is the chairs are the original pews from 1894. The pews have an awesome old look and feel and are perfect for photo ops. We cherish the historic features of our building. Lastly, this room is surrounded by beautiful stained-glass windows.
The Gallery
This space is perfect for your reception. This is where the dancing happens. It is also surrounded by beautiful stained-glass windows that just pop with the white walls all around them. Talk about built-in decoration for our couples. Turn up the tunes and get the dance party going with your guests in this room!
We have said it before and will say it again because we think it’s that cool- Because of the historical significance of the building, The Kirk of Highland has historic landmark status. Meaning, The Kirk will always remain where it is. So, if you get married here you will always be able to come back!
